What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by the site you are visiting. It allows you to be recognised from page to page, keeps what you have put in your basket, and measures how the site is used.

Two categories, one consent

Cookies essential to the operation of the site are placed without your consent, because without them the site does not work. All others — audience measurement in particular — are placed only after your express consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and does not prevent you from browsing or ordering.

What we do not do

We place no advertising cookies and no social network trackers, and we do not carry out targeted advertising based on your browsing. No data from cookies is sold or transferred to third parties.

Giving or withdrawing consent

A banner is shown on your first visit. You can change that choice at any time from the same banner. Your decision is kept for six months, in line with the CNIL's recommendation; after that you are asked again. Withdrawal does not affect cookies placed beforehand.

Browser settings

You can also set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to delete them:

  • Safari — Settings, then Privacy
  • Chrome — Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies
  • Firefox — Settings, Privacy & Security
  • Edge — Settings, Cookies and site permissions

Please note: blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents the basket from working and makes ordering impossible.

Retention

Cookies themselves last no more than thirteen months. Data collected through them is kept for no more than twenty-five months, then deleted or anonymised. Your consent choice is remembered for six months.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. How to exercise them is set out in Part 3. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr.

Changes

This policy may change, in particular if we add a tool that places new cookies. The version that applies is the one published on the site on the date of your visit.
